Mold prevention starts with a knowledge of your building's systems. Along with extensive information of how mold prospers, an intimate knowledge of how the independent systems of a building work together are necessary in forming a preventative mold plan. It is never too late to implement a preventative mold plan, but it may be necessary to remove mold first if it is present. Building Performance Solutions has conducted thousands of investigations ranging in size from small to building-wide remediation. Our job is to first identify the source causing the mold growth, form a remediation plan and educate our customers to eliminate the possibility of mold growth from occurring again.

Removal can be accomplished in several different ways, but the EPA recommends this protocol as the way to remediate mold. It is a proven, tried and true method. Any other way, such as fogging is just covering up a problem that already exists and may continue if the mold is not properly removed from the premises.
