»  Your PBS Consultant will arrive as scheduled.

»  You and your Consultant will address any concerns or issues you may be having.  This is done during the initial walk-through of your house.

»  Your BPS Consultant will then examine the homes' mechanical systems looking for safety, comfort, durability or inefficient isues that may be present.

»  An infiltration test will be performed, using a blower door, thermal imaging camera and/or smoke pen.  This will determine where unintended air leakage and thermal bypasses are located.

»  Your Consultant will then attempt to access the attic and/or crawlspace(s) to look for areas that need improvement.

»  At the end of the consultation, you and your Consultant will summarize the findings and discuss the improvements that are needed and how to go about the improvement process.

»  A detailed report will be delivered to you within 24 hours of the inspection.  This report will include digital pictures, recommendations for improvement and refer qualified contractors that have been working with BPS.  If you are already working with a contractor, BPS be happy to advise them on proper improvement techniques.

»  After the improvements have been made, BPS will return for Post Improvement Testing to verify the improvements were successful and to apply for any cash-back rewards that may be available to you.  This is the most critical part of the program, as changing one part of your home can have significant and adverse issues with other parts of the homes' performance.
